ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO DELIVER THERAPY THROUGH WORKERS COMPENSATION?

Yes, I'm fully registered with SIRA. You will need a referral from your GP, together with a letter from your workers compensation insurance agency allowing you to access a therapy session.

HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?

The full cost for a session is $220, or $150 if you hold a pension or health care card. This is a significant reduction from the Australian Psychology Society recommended hourly rate for psychologists, which is $280. A mental health plan then allows for a rebate of $141.85, providing a gap fee of $78.15 per session.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Each session goes for approximately 50 minutes.
How many sessions each person requires will depend on a number of factors including how complicated their presenting issues are. Some clients I only see for 2-3 sessions, and some I continue to see for 6-12 months.

WHEN ARE YOU AVAILABLE?

I currently see clients at Glenorie Medical Centre between 3:00 - 7:30pm on a Monday night, and between 8:30am - 5:30pm on a Wednesday. Telehealth sessions can be arranged outside of this time.
